Delicious chocolate chip cookies made with sprouted flour and other real wholesome ingredients.
  • ½ Cup raw honey
  • ½ Cup Sucanat
  • 1 ¼ Cup room temperature pastured butter
  • 1 Teaspoon real vanilla
  • 1 pastured egg
  • 2 ¼ Cup sprouted wheat flour
  • ½ Teaspoon unrefined sea salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 C chocolate chips (Enjoy Life is a good brand!)
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix together honey, Sucanat, butter, vanilla, and egg in stand mixer until well combined.
  3. In separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Add in dry ingredients and mix together. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
  5. Spoon small chunks of dough onto cookie sheet and bake for about 8-10 minutes. I like my cookies gooey so I take them out as soon as the edges start to turn golden brown and let the cookie sheet bake the rest.
  6. After a couple of minutes, transfer to cooling rack.
  7. Eat half of them and tell everyone the recipe only made a dozen ;)
  8. Store in air tight container.
